back to ur topic. engineer goby is not neon blue goby. engineer goby is dark blue to black on white in color. As a juvenile, the markings are horizontal, running the length of the body. With age, they become vertical bands. neon blue goby is dark blue with a striking horizontal light-blue stripe on each side beginning above the eye and running the entire length of the body. It is a cleaner species which will service tank mates and help control some diseases.
