hi ozy, benz have no more green acro or any sps left if i m not wrong. u can try PR. but those they left wif r from their shipment abt 3 wks ago. u might wanna call them up to ask when is the next shipment coming in.

IMO, phosphate is not the only contrbuting factor to algae growth. high nitrate is oso another contrbuting factor, lights which encourages photosynthesis is also another factor to consider.

i m using rowaphos.... but more or less, u will still hv algae problem.

IMHO, ur question is 2 general bro. depends on what u keep, depth of ur tank, how many PLs, etc.......

algae that grows on rocks r normally purple coraline algae. every one wants it dun they? who wanna get rid of them. if u get green, brown or red hairy algae, then good luck...... diatoms and red slime.

if anyone want a better view, can always go to the zip file and download. my most prized coral will be my non-branching luminous green, semi transparent octopus and of coz my sps. esp the green acro which i got from benz.

that fella is the infamous algae blenny. alternatively, u can try using a hawaiian yellow eye kole tang. but that will cost about 5 to 7 times as much as a algae blenny. IMHO, the best solution is to use a used phone card or expired credit card to scrap off the algae on ur tank panel....... at least, that's what Vinoth and i r doing.
