well said FuEL...... totally agree with u. by setting up a refugium and growing macroalgae helps to a certain extent as the caulerpa absorbs the excess nutrients, e.g. nitrate for it to grow. the thing to look out for is ur macroalgae turning asexual and u hv to prune ur macroalgae regularly.

u can try acclimatizing ur shrimps in this way: 1) soak the bag containing the shrimp in ur tank for about 1/2 hr. 2) slowly release the shrimp into ur tank from the highest part of ur aquascape. this method works for me! hope it helps.
