  3. actually i myself oso using salifert. but salifert is expensive compared to red sea. i m trying to rec bro fab79 here something reasonable without hurting his pocket.
  4. red salt??? red sea u mean. i hv frenz using it. so far, no bad reviews abt the testkits.
  5. for ur info, the red sea 5 in 1 test kit will consists of kh, ph, ammonia, nitrite & nitrate. cost ard $50 to $60 i think.
  6. Yes Michael, i do agree wif u. kind of insensitive of me not to c that fab79 is worried sick. sorry guys!
  7. good 2 c sister flub is taking it in such a light hearted manner. good for u sis!
  8. oh no!!! i sense a war of words here. what's getting into everyone recently??? must be the bad weather!!!
  9. stroutium, iodide, magnesium, etc r juz some of the test kits examples i m quoting. of coz, ph, kh, no3 as well....... many more. juz lazy to name them all.
  10. hi Michael Young, i m not saying that water parameters r everything. juz suggesting him to get more test kits to test the water parameters. u will never know what's the status of ur water parameters till u hv tested them right? i do agree wif u water parameters r not everything. there r other factors as well. e.g. temp, current, lights, poor placement, etc.
  11. u'll hv to test to find out. suggest u get somemore test kits: strotium, magnesium, iodide, etc........
  12. is that a glass anemone i c in ur last pic?
  13. hi bro, u r going to kanna yellow card. pls do phrase ur thread in detail and to answer ur question, what corals r u looking for, softies, sps, lps, rics, mushies???? the shortage in hard corals is due to problems btw suppliers and AVA. which will be ironed out soon. but prices r set to rise. IMHO that is.
  14. IMHO, depends on how high up u put ur PL. like what xiggie said, 65ook will be good. but look after the grapes carefully. they r not that easy to keep.
  15. there is no way u can program it.
  16. prices revised to $55 for both tubes. lelong lelong!!!
  17. hi deepblue, my sunburst anthias has been in hiding for 2 wks in the rocks liao. it comes out only when no one is looking and it will only come out for a while. any solutions?
  18. entirely up to u reefez, but like what i hv said, the bigger bottle, the more economical it gets. not trying to promote rowaphos here as i do not get a single cent out of it. juz trying to save ur pockets from being burned
  19. IMHO, 10 gamble 9 lose. if u wanna play for fun, the nearest one should be leisure world cruise liner.
  20. r those blue bubbles cateye? might wanna x change, i got a branching hammer and octo to let go.
  21. i hv always believed in and used Waterlife Octozin. It is reef safe. juz make sure u read the instructions carefully. u might wanna give it a try. juz me 2 cents.
  22. dun worry, u can keep the rest for future usage.
  23. that's the yellow caed / red card system for poorly descriped topics. read the pinned down thread.
  24. bro, i hv 2 times as many LS as u do and lots of corals. so far no problem. nitrate a little on the high side. trying to bring it down. damsels, clowns, tangs, hawkfish, i hv them all... :P:P
  25. dunno, but i think more economical to get the 1L bottle. if 2 much for u, u can always find some reefers to chip in and share it equally. this way is better than going ard buying a small bottle.
