odi should hv got a cannister which comes with the priming system, else u hv to suck up the water and do self priming everytime u do maintenance on the cannister.

for ur info, i do not remove my polyfilter from my filtration system at all till they turn black!! which signals it's time to chanfe.

no worries Razo. juz out here to share our experience. yes. we do not want the kalk residue from dripping into our tanks. but if the kalk residue has oredi clogged up the valve in the 1st place, how is the residue suppose to get in the tank. as for leaving the container uncovered, i leave it up 2 u guys to decide. i myself is using a cover with a small hole drilled on top.

leave some room btw the bottom of the container and the drip valve. u do not want all the residue from the kalk which settles at the bottom of ur container to clog up the valve. remember not to seal the container with a cover, coz if u do, there will be no pressure in the container to push the water thru the drip valve. juz leave the container uncovered. if u wanna use a cover, juz drill a hole in the centre of the cover to facilitate the atm. pressure acting on the kalk solution. so that it will push the kalk down. juz me 2 cents.

does the jebo cannister hv a priming system, if not u hv gotta suck the water. the noise coming from the cannister is from the pump. as the pump is not drawing water, thus the noise.

what about the AZ-NO3?

i think the only difference is it is not a HO T5. for 3ft, dymax T5s r rated 30W whereas ATI & Aqualight T5s r rated 39W. i believe the fixture for dymax T5s r not using e-ballast oso right?

totally agree. survival rate of cleaner wrasse is very low in captivity.

u can try asking the handlers there in CF to feed the YTs and then u choose from there.
