Finally, into the setup phase for my 'new' tank. Currently soaking the tank with vinegar to clear off the coraline algae and yes, it works! Here is a pic of my 4 x 2 x 2.5 Tank. I believe that someone of u might find this tank very familiar......

Hi Bro, the 'new' tank ah...just soak with vinegar and water lor.....hoping to remove the coraline algae without any scatches...hehe.. ALso testing if any leak **touchwood*. should commerce setup by next week liao, my targeted date... How is the wavemaker??

Anyone using HC-500A for a 160G tank? Me on budget too, cant afford JBJ artica. I reckon that the Hailea chiller might be 'under-sized", i on the planning phase of the 'new' tank. I might be running all return pumps externally, LED fixture and with only 1 or 2 wavemaker pump. I be getting a externally controller just like my previous hailea HC-300A. I understand abt the initial investment vs long term running electrical cost. I guess i be in this hobby for another 1 - 2 years before i shift, so probably i down-size or upgrade again. Any bros' care to share on their past experience?
