Hope with 1 unit of G2-110w will just nice to my own prefrence...... my tank size is 3'(L) x 22"(H) x 17"(W) and if from my sand bed to the water lever, it only 16-17", so i hope with 1 unit of G2-110w will get me the good shimmer effect...... 5. Yes, many forumer faced this problem and many LPS even don't know about this...... you need to relocate the monitor not the probe far away from any electric devices. Remember don't buy the 9v AC adaptor too, it will cause the same problem too.....
  6. Got the answer liow....... hope can help others...... " Other electrical devices causing interference with the display monitor. The most common culprit is high frequency electronic ballasts" Anyway, Thanks to hammy!!
  7. Hi all sifu.... I just got the new American merine pH Pinpoint Monitor for my FOWLR marine tank, after i did the 7 and 4 calibration a few times and put into the tank, i noticed that the reading is quite fluctuated.... My problems are : 1) By using the AC adaptor, the reading fluctuarate between 7.51 and 7.78, these show lower ph value if i use the 9v batterry which show the reading 7.75 and 7.92...... why the reading is so different by using AC power and 9V battery....?? 2) Is the monitor reading normal if the 1st decimal point fluctuarate between 7.7 and 7.9...?? I beleive that it is normal if the reading of second decimal point is fluctuarating loh...... Please help and advice....... Thanks...!!

  11. Hi, I have set up a DIY Sulphur Denitrator( One chamber Aquamedic sulphur, one chamber Aquamedic Calcium sand) 3 months ago. Yesterday I added one more set due to my current SD really can't bring down my NO3. I have reset my drip rate to 1-2drips/sec now and previously my drip rate is too slow(5-6sec/drip). My question now is i have 0.25ppm-0.5ppm reading of Nitrite(NO2) from my DIY SD outlet now!! Is that normal/ok?? Is this because of my SD not enough good bateria to handle it yet at this moment??Please advice..... Thanks...!!
