i think u might need to use it with a couple of profantec fan....... for a 3 feet tank .. it alone is not enough....... even in some cases it wont chill a 2 feet tank.....

the aiptasia will sting the flesh of the clam and irritate the clam.. when irritated the clam do not open as much.... and cant absorb sunlight to make food..... and if they cant make food.. they will slowly die of hunger,..... IMO better remove the aiptasia.....

ime..... buy a profantec fan or other DC fan......... run the aircon can maintain the tempreture... i run a 400w metal halide..... with fan and air con alone.... can maintain tempreture at 26 degree celcius...... my air con tempreture is set at 23 degree celcius...... hope this helps....

no.. i did not use the magnesium add ons... what i use is A.R.M media and the one that macro provides....

for madmac.... i did not add anything at all... not even one drop of additive ph is around 8.0 .. tested in the afternoon i have only 3 fishes in my tank and is feeding very little.. i took out the entire CR out of the water.... photo period is the same.... 10 hours a day thanks madmac...... i am doing water changes 20%daily.... what i am afraid of s when i turn on the CR again.. this problem arises???

but...one of the reefers from here says its not good...... he recommended me to change 20% of the water daily..... which i am doing..... so i just want to find out what are the long term effects of high levels of magnesium........ a question that even an accomplished reefer cant explain..... i decommision my calcium reactor for a few weeks.... did not add additives for a week before the testing... but the levels is still high..... so bros... anyone can explain this phenomenon ???

nope.. what i mean is ... if u switch on the air con for ur own body cooling and not for ur tank.. switch it at 23 degrees celcius instead of 18 degree celcius.... will use lesser power...... as if the air con if switch on at 23 degree celcius can still be very cooling....

all test kits are salifert and is working pretty well on other tanks..... sg of water is 1.022

well... u can on the tempreture of air conditioner at 23degree celcius . ......and when at night.... switch off the mains of ur television.... the plug..... it saves electricity......

calcium->600ppt magnesium-->undetectable... too high KH-->12.6 my question is 1)what cause the magnesium to be too high ... i never dose any magnesium or any additives for weeks... calcium reactor have been offline for weeks liao... and no water change have been done 2)what are the effects of too high a magnesium level....... all tests are done with salifert test kit......... any advices ???
