Ian thanks for the reply... if i drill 2 holes of the same height and size in the sump and tank, and place them on the same level as each other but the water level in e tank is higher than e sump, the water from e tank will naturally flow to the sump rite?

its not a needlewheel, its a venturi skimmer... can be used insump or outsump. Some modifications required if u wan to use it outsump...

can a sump and tank be placed on the same level? will there be a problem with the overflow?
