dear bros, me thinking its a good time to "chu" a car albeit a coe one. me like those 10 yr coe cars since its cheaper. mi fren said that one way to circumvent the dealer is to find a going to expire car eg. left 6mths and buy it from the owner. after tat just renew it... he said its cheaper...wat do u guys think? i wonder will finance co. give me $$$ at the start for a full 10 years loan if i tell them mi plans?

erm Wrassy, the mandarin has this reputation for being particularly picky about food and a difficult fish to keep well fed. It needs lotsa rock for grazing too... I hope ur mandarin is into eating brine shrimp/other food preparations in ur tank, otherwise it will starve...

yazid: i dont have discount card at rainbow... i tot they were ex too...so I had a nice surprise when they quoted me a good price. And I must say the cabinet is up to standard... U may be surprised, but they do give good service. My air pump which I bot from them was faulty after a week, and I brought it back to them and asked for a replacement. They didnt have any stock then, so they gave me my money back. IMO, they are not the worst of the lot

mi pepsi method worked well. i had the flame just now and proceeded to remove the parasite. or so i tot.... it didnt seem like a parasite, i squeezed it and erm a small white lump came out. After that put the fish back. he is swimming as normal, and the flesh is torn cos of wat i did. now i am thinking whether i did the right thing. it seems like a growth on his body and i pulled it off - it must really hurt!

I would like to defend Rainbow for once, and its my own experience. While I agree most of their stuff is overpriced, I did however, bot my cabinet for my 2.5 ft tank from them at only $270. Custom made. I went many places and couldnt find it cheaper. 1 particular shop even quoted me $400! So they do have their good points!

My very very new Purple Tang has sort of developed this close relationship wif my Flame Angel who is bigger than him.... always following the angel around... angel bite at something, the tang also bite at something... always sticking around the angel... is this normal? wat could be the reasons for such behaviour? I tot its perhaps its still young (its kinda small) so perhaps looking for some big bro fish to take care of him...or might be theres protection wif the angel (currently the biggie around) Your comments pls.

ironically mi newly bot flame also kena a parasite (i tink). its this round thingy on the back fins, dark brown in color...best part is the flame dun wana let me catch him (yeah now i know when they say its diff to catch ani fish in ur tank)....resort to the bottle method...pepsi, i hope u can help! once i catch that brown piece of c***, i am gonna kill, kill, kill!

competition my a**.... i tink all along this competition thing doesnt make sense.... wat, i dun take TIBS so i CAN CHOOSE to take SBS....it doesnt work tat way...i recall an article in a local newspaper asking for a merging of all the public transport services into a single entity which would better take advantage of cost savings thru the entire chain, leverage on technology, and provide us consumers wif a better system altogether (*ahem* perhaps at lower costs too).... this competition thing in the transport sector is killing us...mabbe not the erm shareholders but definitely, us consumers... like wat was said earlier, plasma tvs for info that doesnt serve much purpose and all other white elephants shld be stopped. We want high tech yes, but not technology thats rated as "nice to see but no use at all".

wrassy, it sounds like a parasitic isopod... see if it looks like any of this: isopods or if it has big black eyes, it might look like in the pic...

blueterror, if tank in ur room hard to be too quiet ...? esp when ps runs and the outflow water will splash alittle......

hmmm since it comes wif a cabinet and sump, i tink its cheap....but tts me...not experienced in sump setups...
