hey loonz, if dun quarantine how u usually acc the fish? and how does the garlic juice work here... it seems we have to dose the food wif the juice, but if we dun quarantine the fish, does it mean we acc the fish, throw them in the tank and feed them wif garlic-dosed food? so wat does the garlic do, boost their immunity?

This roti prata i see most tanks have them on the sand? does this mean not much of lighting required?

i didnt know that! considering they are related to FW cichlids, they are pretty fierce! even LH, oscars dont bite the hand that feed them.....

yes they are very cute. I read that they are picky eaters and can starve quickly.....anyone wif success of keeping one on frozen food?

hmmm hongxian u said its $3? i went to a shop which sold it at $10!!! funny rite...... the fire clown is more ex den other types of clownfish rite... i guess one will be enuff for my tank, dun intend to breed them also......

yeah hongxian, i now have the best of both worlds. An Asian and Western perspective! Acherly its cos i like to hear different views... In this hobby, theres always one thing that someone is advocating (first few visits to SW LFS left me dazed and confused) and I find it better to read more before deciding......

I think the greenish CA is pretty cool, I wouldnt get them out unless its bad algae... hopefully more purple ones will come along

What's the care level like for this coral? issit a hard/soft coral and does it need to be fed anything? what about lighting, does it require lotsa of it? and can it survive in higher temp like polyps and mushrooms? They come in different colors issit? sorry ah, got so many questions! btw, y did u remove the anemone? cos it started to move ard n sting corals? i am considering one also...

Hmmm being reading so much about your lighting topics that I am thinking of switching to individual tube lighting. I currently have a combo one. what suitable light hoods are there for a 2.5 ft tank? i tink 2 tubes (1 actinic and 1 10k daylight) should suffice for my tank.... Pls advise based on the following: 1. PL/FL 2. wattage 3. brand 4. price 5. where to get it Tks so much....
