hi guys. i just bot mi CS and fire shrimp from Marinelife. cs@$8, fire shrimp@$9.... wanted to buy 2 CS intially but oni 1 is good one, the other 2 looked weird wif some kind of cyst growing on their sides so tot not veri healthy... so ended up buying the fire shrimp... the FS veri beautiful but the best part is after i put them in the tank, the CS went into the rocks straightaway...the FS loitered on the glass and stayed there! i tot its supposed to be shy? now its like 2+ hours after it went in the tank, and its on the sand....didnt even touch the rock yet.... oh yeah at marinelife i was observing a CS n CBS when i saw the CBS lunge at the CS suddenly... guess tts y no CBS for me yet... btw, do u guys feed ur prawns? or just leave them as they are n try to throw in a few extra bits of food for them to scavenge later?

i didnt know hydrometer got digital one...how much it cost, mr joe?

are all gobies jumpers? do blennies jump too? and is the royal gramma territorial or not territorial?

i mean those tat come in on my LR. brown, black, grey ones wif lotsa hair...heard tat they r not reef safe?

i was thinking since the coral banded is so fierce, i might get away wif it i add the coral banded first den the LNH later. hehe... anyway from wat i see, no LNH ever decided to eat a CBS? or are there any incidents u guys experienced?

ok i have a starter common clown in my 38g right now wif LR. i am planning my list of future fish: a royal gramma, a bi-colored blenny, a flame angel, a coral beauty angel, and a mandarin fish. My questions are: 1. can the 2 angelfish co-exist together? (knowing the flame is quite a fierce chap) 2. when would u intro them into the tank? which is first? heres my view: Clownfish is in already so next is royal gramma, den the bi-colored blenny, n den both angels at the same time and the long wait before the mandarin - is this good? pls advise!

hi everyone, i am considering adding a CBS, but seriously i not sure whether to go for the cleaner shrimp or CBS? i want sthg to clean, tts all....the harderworking one gets the job! btw, issit possible to add 2 shrimps at the same time? would they fight?

hey i realised the hikari brand of mysis has the kyorin word on it?!?!?? it says kyorin product of China???? so issit hikari now or kyorin? i blur liao!

today mi clownfish suddenly did a uturn to the back of the tank n stayed there....this is not his normal position, normally he likes the front of the tank.... hope hes ok? still swimming as usual n no visible appearance of illness....

tat means i cant get the CBS n put it into mi tank unless i forgo the hawkfish...

hi there, mi tank is kinda those five plan type. plastic wif cover. bottom is black. and the sides are silliconed (of cos... u dun expect the rounded edges type of tank eh?...hehe) sorry no pic la...wish got digicam! must wait for $$$ first hehe hosunhee: i will call u soonest....

tks guys. its eating the mysis shrimp oredi... mi parents claim that this fish seems unaware of the recession; it actually picked out the shrimp meaty body to eat n left the head untouched!!!

hi guys, the LNH has such a small mouth how issit possible to eat shrimps? anyway i wana add a coral banded shrimp...will the LNH eat it too?

Anyone got experience wif this fish? seen it in LFS n tot it looks interesting... how does it behave and will it realli jump out of the tank like wat the url says? do u guys give some coral for the fish to perch on? Longnose Hawkfish

yeah i seen it at rainbow... tot its kinda weird up there on the shelf..hehe i heard venturi cant be used for small tanks, they will skim all the good stuff out...! will the experts care to comment?
