i tink he meant e hairy look-like-beard red algae. they are really tuff to get rid of! cant scrub off one.....i have some on mi rocks and i tryin to starve it of light. death to algae!

wats e best speed? i using a 1300l/hr pump and mi tank is a 2.5ft by 18 inch. water volume not more than 38G. the chiller, a 0.25HP, takes like an hour or so to get e temp down from 28c to 26c. i reckon it can be faster - could it be due to: 1. water flow too fast? 2. not enuff gas?
