Guys...this is a top grade skimmer! I have one of these myself and i must say it beats the Remora hands down, pants down... It is only second to the beckett skimmers. It is probably on par or even better than the spray injection ones... Upz for u bro...

yeah. just tat i heard horror stories abt floating fish after dosing of tat stuff. n den mi fren said tat mi skimmer (which is fairly large) shld be able to oxygenate e water enuff for me not to add an additional air source.....

i have a 400L H&S skimmer on my 2.5ft tank. Am wondering will it oxygenate my water enuff for me to dose AZ-N03 without an additional air source like a air pump?

cos we nid a PH of a certain level to dissolve it eh?

hi guys, i wana get PVC parts to make a casing for a prefilter. it will look like a normal calcium reactor. very simply, i just need a PVC tube (transparent) with 2 caps. can i know: 1. where to get them? 2. how to seal/any shop does e welding/sealing for u? tks!

acherly i tink its enuff.... he only wants to keep "most 4 to 5 small fishes and some soft corals" assuming he keeps to his word, with a sump and life rock, tats enuff filtration. The 2 skimmers can keep up - plus softies like e water underskimmed. Many softies dont do well in overskimmed water (at least thats wat i heard and also experienced myself)...

haha...yeah manz... its really weird. we reefers have weird pasttimes and diseases: 1. looking at sludge in ur skimmer 2. looking at tiny pods in ur tank 3. spending lotsa time and energy on pipes, wires, bulbs, wood, drills... 4. smelling skimmate! gross!

acherly wat THC said its true. the stuff from art friend is same as DAMA, acrylic glue. and it seems it can come apart wif enuff stress... i miself used it to glue mi PL fixture b4...e legs came off though, after 1 yr.... though i tink e DIY sump is quite impressive. looks like i do have to ask mi stewardess fren after all....
