  1. Canister Details and Pic. Atman Professional 3337 The AT clip system is made of 4 sturdy clips which work with the built-in gasket and recessed lid handles, making the pump head simple to remove . Atman's new filter media containers with retractable handles greatly simplify setup and cleaning of the filter media. Fitting directly onto the pump head, the newly-developed integrated Atman tap connectors ingeniously combine the shut-off valves, the hose connections and the connecting nuts into a perfect single unit . FLOWRATE 1000l.p.h POWER CONSUMPTION 30watts FILTER VOLUME 6.5litres FOR AQUARIUMS 120-150cm
  2. As stated, 3 mth. All pipes and hose included. Sorie no pic.....
  3. Selling Atman 3337 at $50. Able to power up to 3ft according to manufacturer spec but use it on 2ft tank. Very good condition. Self collect at Punggol 21. Selling on behalf of my friend. Please contact Onion at Hp: 91547585.
  4. Hi, The live rocks of my friend turns black colour after putting in activated carbon. Is like covering by a layer of carbon, is it ok? The sand bed is also covered by a layer too.
  5. I have a Blue Devil, Domino, 3 strips and 4 strips living together with my firefish. No problem. Just make sure you provide lots of rocks. I notice something funny. My domino will chase all other damsel except the firefish. My firefish is very healthy without any torn fin.
  6. Yes, mine turn white after a few weeks. For your information, my hermit crabs eat them all, left only the rock.
  7. My cleaner wrasse dig a hole below rock and hide itself there. Just a note: Do not keep 2 cleaner wrasses together ! They will fight until one left
  8. Grade 0 sand is very fine. You will have to put two layers of mesh to prevent grade 0 from sipping into the bottom layer. I use two layers and it is very successful.
  9. Maybe you would like to try my method. I am still cycling my uncure rock in my tank. If you are concern of the smell, just use those transparent plastic wrapper (for wrapping food) to cover your tank top and left a small gap to allow gases to escape. I am using this method and well, smell reduce greatly. I must put my nose just above the water level then can smell the "fragrance". You can also put a few bag of carbon into it to lessen the smell at the same time.
  10. I have 3 hermit crabs, 2 turbo snails and 1 cleaner shrimp. Hermit crab are efficient cleaner. They will eat up left over food and dead fishes but they are also very active. They will move rocks if rock are not place securely and step over corals plus disturb anemone if it is place on the sand bed. The turbo snails are not bad but they are slow cleaners. As for the cleaner shrimp, I don't really see it working. I think it is doing more important task like eating parasites from sick fishes. I am going to shift my crabs to a small tank and buy a algae eater to replace them. Saw the algae eater working at the LFS. Wow, you must see how it work, fantastic.
  11. I am using Atman 3337, only 2 baskets. Bottom basket : Bio-foam, ceramic rings, zeolite and chemi-pure. Top basket : Big Crushed Coral Chips.
  12. Try keeping other clown fish than Fasle/True Percula. The rest of the clown fish are more hardy and some of them are not anemone dependant. They can fend themslves from other aggressive fish better. But these clown fish are more territorial.
  13. I notice the baby brine shrimps are very small and light, so do i need to off the filtration before feeding it to the fishes? How do judge the amount of bbs to feed cos when it enter the tank, you can't really see how much is been eaten up by the fish and how much left over in the tank?
  14. I broke my floating hydrometer so I bought a swinging type. My previous value taken using the floating type hydrometer is much higher than my new one. The new hydrometer is calibrated at 25'C and my tank temp. is 28'C. Can anyone teach me how to use the new hydrometer for my tank temp?
