Assuming I can't take out the piece of rock with green algae, shall I brush off the green hair algae? or let it grow so that it will consume the nutrition and eventually, will it die off on its own when nutrition level becomes low?

i suggest you to get copperband instead. somehow the joe's juice could not kill the aiptasia to my experience, always grow back at the same spot, not to mention certain area you would not be able to reach
