  1. Hi, Sadly two Allardi Clownfish died on me recently due to Brooklynella while the other two true percula remain active in the tank. All fishes are from coral farm. i wish i could buy another two Allardi Clownfish but am afraid of them dying from the disease again. so what is your advice? buy after some time like 3mth? i got a number of fishes so the parasite wont die off completely for sure.
  2. hi bros, can you share what nutrition and trace elements are you using? is it true that 1. grotech abcm=fish solution? 2. grotech abc=tropic marin a- and k+ = TM pro coral minerals? thanks
  3. Thanks bros, my existing two have been growing much bigger and my long nose hawk very timid one, in fact i'm more worried of the coral band shrimp... anyway, i added 4 medium one from LCK ($15/each), hopefully they can survive. (CF about $20 each)
  4. Hi bros, aiptasia out of control and hence thinking of getting 5 peppermint shrimps. i'd like to get small ones (like 1cm body) this time round as the old two big ones do not work at all. so is it safe to add in with the livestock below? currently, i have two 1.5" (body) cleaner shrimps, two 2cm (lazy) peppermint shrimps and one 1.5" coral band shrimp, one 2" long nose hawk fish. Other mates include blue/purple/salfin tang each, green/yellow/sixline wrasse. (got a few zoas and tube worms, so copperband and file fish are out, also tired of using chemicals) thanks
  5. of course you can, it's only about space & $$$ but remember to replace carbon at least monthly...

  9. think some bros do have reported better results when used exclusively personally, i see my fishes like it.....i start with new life exclusively, then i mixed with other pellets in an effort to provide variety, but end up that the fishes only pick those new life ones....
  10. thanks bros, i will check out at c328 first
  11. Hi bros, my ehiem 1262 dry-run for the whole night during my last flood. I think the impeller got to be replaced. any bro know where can i get it and roughly how much? thanks
  12. Hi Bros, i am looking for 1/4 hp arctica chillers. pls PM me. Trade with my existing <1yr 1/5 hp also welcome....
  13. Thanks. Decide to take out, just to be safe....
  14. Hi bros, found quite a number of this snails in the tank, colors very much the same as the notorious zoa eating sun dial snail, but remember sun dial should be flat right?
  15. Hi reefers, i have seen yumas at GO selling S$150 or maybe even more for one big polyp, and seen them at iwarna at $8 for a rock of a few yumas. understand that color, or its combination and size that matters, so what are the common, relatively cheap colors or combination of colors? green? yellow? pictures with indicative price will be greatly appreciated. thanks.
  16. i just doubt how could your chiller work?! both front and rear are obstructed
  17. yes, Joes Juice works but have to action fast b4 it grows on areas you cant reach (in which cases you cant do anything......)
  18. be it Coral Rx or TMPCC, if the specimen got nudi eggs and you dont quarantine it, you are in trouble! any bro have success stories combating nudis? after a few rounds of Coral Rx baths for the last two weeks for my zoa rocks, i can still see nudis from time to time and really dis-heartened! Think it will unlikely to be eliminated from the tank since the egg can be anywhere, not just on the zoa rocks... a quick question, will nudis be starved to death if there are no zoas or similar in the tank?
  19. mine too, never seen them working on any of the aiptasia, big or small. the two peppermint shrimps have been in my tank 3month already.. using joe's juice, but it just cant get rid of them completely....
  20. Hi Bros, Found a few flatworms when i dip the zoa rocks to in FW with Coral Rx n Iodine in an attempt to kill the nudis. There are no visible flatworms in the tank. Any bro have experience dealing with them using Salifert Flatworm Exit? Shall i kill them now before the worms multiply?
