keeping hedgehog need quite a bit of $ and time too. Please do not try to keep them in those hamster cage. should at least get a 3ft x 2ft cage for a pair and don expect them to bond with you like a dog and play fetch. They need time to get use to human activities and fyi, the cage and those wheels (toys) for them can be pretty expensive not to mentioned the bedding. yeah, u need to wash their wheel or play pen (due to their poo) quite often too. well imho, keeping marine fishes is easier at least the poo goes to the skimmer. starfish price is reasonable.
