is it advisable to alternate pumps like OR6500 and ehiem 1262 for the tank from 1pm to 7pm. 7pm onwards is just 1262? having 2 pump running is damn nosiy.

in a well established tank there should be alot of these pods. jackt that sounds cool abt your hanging refugium. then use it to house your injured coral.

i am doing it, never kept a refegium before but there is nothing great about this poddy thingy. you can get it from your LR in a well established tank. i place some tigger pods inside a container filled with salt water (ofcoz) and chaeto. then some in the fridge. well all alive.

nice work. i also tried to cycle my tank today but with salt mix. Result: manage to top up only 20% of my tank with DI water.. the flow rate from the di unit is too slow,. try to observe if there any critters in yr LR

Adding H20 into my tank. the oceanus give me a reading of 72 ppm. Well after adding the Aquarium Pharmaceuticals Tap Water Filter, TDS meter show me ZERO ppm
