  1. after feeding market prawn, my tank water surface has lots of bubbles my skimmer skim out a lot of stuff too i have no such issue with feeding mysis shrimp thanks

  3. my friend's FW tank pH 4, but her FW fish are surviving well, for years if you mix 1 part ph down solution to 10 part tap water, the reading will be around 3 but no ill effects to your hand furthermore those carbonic drinks we consume pH around 3 too cheers
  4. i have a reef tank at home, this will be predator fish only using overhead filter, no sump my skimmer is working hard my lionfish
  5. a lot quieter after kick in, but still have microbubbles issue here is a pix of its performance

  7. regular tuning and microbubbles are the main issue for me too i have to tune almost everyday to make it less noisy, thankfully its a 10 sec job happy reefing

  10. price for 2nd hand prizm is reasonable, $60-$100 depending on condition i am surprise and very satisfied with its performance coming 2 months no water change, NO3 less than 5ppm daily feeding with 1 cube of frozen mysis shrimp cheers

  17. the head look very similar, but i dont remember seeing so many black patches cheers
  18. google the eels you mention, none look similar saw it years ago in a reefer's tank iirc, he told me its purchase at marinelife(henry) for app $60 i think i will stick to snowflake first to gain some experience in eel keeping thanks

  20. anyone can share their experience in eel keeping? did some research, notice they are escape artist are they really that good like FW crayfish? what species should i keep? looking at hardy, active, slow growth, bright colours thanks in advance

  22. from my experience skim mate produce by dnw200 and ap851 is almost the same but ap851 manage to bring down my no3 to less than 5ppm cheers
