And yes, i read that zoas do not need really good water and seem to thrive in 'dirty' water. what about temperature? what is good for them?

you won't be moving your tank with you? i don't mind waiting awhile longer, can save more $ and buy better equipment.

Hi people, I am interested in setting up a Zoa only tank. As you can see, I have been in this forum since 08 but I have not set up anything at all. just been reading and studying what to do. never really got about doing a tank up. I am intending to set up a pico tank with a sump that is 1.5x the size of the pico. was told by a friend to load the sump with liverocks and bio balls. is that enough? I am not able to find much information on Zoa care, can anybody share some info? Would like to know everything from water chemistry to temperature and lighting. Many thanks in advance.
