the only flaw about using the original clip on is, it's too long...as a result the light is too front, so the back of yr tank dun get that much light...if u notice....i believe it is designed more for cube tank rather than rectangular shape tank....

And make sure no microbubbles from your return pipe.....my clam died on me because my cannister went crazy and keep blowing microbubbles out...and my clam died....(for my nano tank)

Shd not be a problem for you....G2 110W model is about $500.....i still own you pictures of my nano...will send you tomorrow. FYI, my cabinet is not meant for sump and my tank has no IOS....u can still place a sump for refugium, but the cannister, you have to place it outside....
