  3. yes...w/o lights...skimmer and return alone, my temp can go up to 32 degrees...
  4. yeah...say that again...esp when u r using MH...if chiller stop working...thatz it....its worth exploring LED for your set-up...i will be changing to one towards end of the year...gives u beta peace of mind and less energy consumption.
  5. NICE!! u din get powder blue from AM?...the colours quite nice...go to the back where the live rocks are n check out... that time, did u get yr dragon eyes from victor at 3 red notes?
  6. Henry's place only left with one pair of masked shrimp goby with shrimp...2 copper bands, a few yellow long nose, one mystery wrasse, a few small size true perculas with unique markings...
  7. yeah..i like yr new avatar too...yr splendids certainly add more colours to your existing livestocks.... any pictures of your zoas?...would love to c yr pui pui zoas... u din ask your wife why she says NO?...haha...
  8. kaoz....good thing u managed to clean up and savage the situation. It's always good to have some ready saltmix water on standby for issues like this... my ex-algae blenny must be a fake one...
  9. LOL!...Ray has been target of suaning... Desi..after watching yr videos...make me all the more to wanna raid yr tank inhibitants...hehe... Think u need some urchins to help control yr algae growth...the algae blenny is quite useless...i used to have one just starve to death altho' there r lots of algae growing on my tank walls for him to makan...
  10. Still have Kole tang and small size naso tangs... Nice Fiji zoas from previous shipment still available...nice indon zoas?...hmm...in my tank...hur hur
  11. ok..will wait for u... no problem mixing barletts and lyretails...now my tank have 3 different types - lyretail (M & F), stocky/tricolour (cannot tell) and squareback..... victor also have tiger tail anthias..but i dun know how to appreciate...
  12. ok! ...there's still a lot of barletts at victor's place, but small ones...
  13. iwarna got sunburst!...actually i prefer big size barletts...they look nicer...those small small ones, tak shiok... u can tell it here if it's not RA...
  14. dun mind me being frank...yr tank is kinda narrow to house these fishes...i can c you have a taste for nice fishes...flame wrasse, blochie, etc...they need space and thick sand bed to burrow for yr flame wrasse...otherwise, everytime u spend $$$...end up feeling sad...why dun just keep some simple nano fishes...and defer your desire for colourful and not-so-common fishes for the time being...
  15. he will use that tank to put his "dump" his less exotic corals there...
  16. jacky --> http://www.sgreefclub.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=88237&pid=905173&st=0&#entry905173
  17. u measure then tell yr wife she wants that size...and based on that kinda size...got to have a proper set-up...otherwise fish die...yr gal will be very sad...
  18. blastos rather fragile...place them in very low flow area...low lights is ok...just feed them with mysis every now and then will do... for red blastos...have to place them under strong lights and very low flow... last time i always buy 4 for $100...melt until see bey chiam...
  19. when blasto split is not a good sign hor..haha...after they split, it does not mean u have one more blasto..usually it means it is melting...
  20. so if u want a 4ft tank..beta bring her along to choose...buy already then call your wife the blue zoas looks beta under blue lights...the fiji ones will be more exotic...red skirting with pink face...iwarna still have a few...i think u will like those zoas in iwarna's frag tank...hur hur...
  21. try zeovit rocks...http://www.reefdepot.com.sg/ it cost more...but beta than activated carbon because it can be a source of food for your corals and fishes when u shake it...i will be trying this product myself...personally i have used activated carbon before...the benefit is not that virtual to the eyes...so long u do regular water change and with skimmer running, unlikely yr water will turn yellowish...activated carbon needs to be replace every 2-3 months and it will absorb trace elements from your waters...so u end up having to dose more additives to make up for it.... I think its beta u try it and make the judgement for yourself whether it is good or not....too many opinions may confuse u...
  22. Chief...its better to bring yr gal there to choose her tank...she might point to a 4ft red tank... How's the zoas?...u like or not?....
