What about Balling method vs Zeovit? I read in Practical Fish Keeping Oct issue, balling method gives reefer a better control over the ca, mg, kh and etc... wehreas zeovit gives sps / corals in general much better colours.

just came back from Golden Octopus......wazz on offer??? Cynarina (2 for $70) - there are 2 very nice ones that has 2 heads attached. One is green and the other is red. Brains irregardless of texture and colours ($40 - $50) Zoas ($50 below irregardless of size and colours). There's one blue colour zoa colony palm size worth grabbing. Blastos (left the dull ones) Suns ($15). Got one for myself. SPS...anything worthwhile? Yes, there is a healthy millipora somewhere on the right side behind. How about Acan? the big and nice one...bo liao. Acan maxima? Yes...there have a few. ($60 - $80) Depending how u bargain...hehe How about yuma? definitely grabbed liao from last update. Still have xenia and lots of cloves...for soft coral lovers. There's a small size purple prata...quite exotic..except there is a slight exposed teeth....not obvious. errr....so is it worth going this week??? Yes, if you looking for offer items. No, if you are looking for new additions. Any new shipment coming. Not for the next one week...at least.

i have similar experience with the white anemone...i have problem feeding it with meaty foods also. Eventually it start to shrink and i have to throw it away. Could be one of those deep water anemone...not too sure...i think the experts here can tell u.

indeed...wahahaha! it all started drooling at lemon's tank...saw his elegance on his thread. then last month, got the pink tip at seaflife after much hesitation and ever since, i fell in love with elegance.

It's advisable to feed at least once a week with some meaty food for long-term success of these creatures. They can tolerate high nutrients and temp as elegance are normally found in lagoons where the temp can go up to 31 in the afternoons.

Today is its 5th day....so far ok. (crossed my fingers) Have been feeding it with some meaty fish and shrimps.

From the description, most likely its acan echinata. Need to feed meaty food to them quite often. Can be quite aggressive. Mine has "eaten" acan lord and blasto before...have to place one inch away from other corals. Its quite an exotic colour you have there.

hahahaha!!!...yup i can fully understand! But u can't deny the feeling of getting the gems and bringing them into your office and after work when u reached home, putting them into the tank and seeing them in full bloom...this feeling is priceless! The only F@#$king reality is the BIG BIG hold in yr wallet and having to eat at coffeeshops on some days.

Ohh ho...i NEVER bring my wife there!!! Usually is SWEET first...you will step out of the door feeling happy with all that gems. Then later BITTER will come when u realise u dun have much money left for the rest of the weeks ahead! hahaha...not to forget your wife will remind u those bills not paid yet. That is why is mentally tormenting to hold back visiting LFS!!!
