dun use D&D epoxy...dump it! its useless...just go ntuc get the selley's epoxy..only $5 plus and its very strong and does not affect yr water. this D&D epoxy will cause yr water to turn milky and does not stick well...last time i used it to stick my staghorn frags...all of them fell and the SPS keep producing slim and made my water so milky plus the epoxy...until my tank nearly crash.

looks more like a leather...they are not a pest.

happened to me before when i tried to stick my blastos...bam...boomz!...my rocks fell..good thing is...most of my corals are still glued on the rocks...and i managed to salvage within 15mins and took that opportunity to throw away a dead rock that has been leaking nitrate into my water. i hope your corals will recover...we learnt thru blunders like these...that's one of the reasons why i have prepared SW for water change anytime. you must have felt damn espired rite?...i mean tired.

The short tentacle plates are more hardy and their colours more vibrant. The long tentacle plates quite difficult to keep.

ok, i was cracking my brains on doing something like that...finally bingo! The prob with the clip on is the fixture is too near to the water, as a result, the lights too direct, if hang up like yours, just perfect...that's one thing i discover abt using LED..have to place them higher.

Sorry to hear abt yr financial lost. I would suggest not to go during shipment day unless there is some rare stuff like aussie scolymia / acan / US zoas...usually it cost around 9 red notes for fist size yuma. The exotic one which Shan showed me last time was $200 but it was as big as my entire hand and its super orangy red. Acan lord can cost around $160, but if you go one or 2 days later, its half of that price. I bought one red prata from him and he quote me >$180...i just give him that bo chap look and later he came back and offer me $100...you have to be patient and be a good negotiator...dun be so gan cheong...take yr time relag...

The tip is dun make the decision to buy straight away...take yr time see see look look..have a coffee/ tea first, cool down, then decide whether to purchase. Sometimes, i get overly excited once step into LFS...buy already, then later regret shd not have gotten.

Got to check with Shan...coz my red trachy also faced same problem...initially pui pui & healthy looking...after a few weeks become skinny...like tio cancer...eventually i threw it away. i tot yuma and zoas shd be good friends...looks like i cannot place any zoas near my yuma.

i think the zoa crushed his yuma...coz can be quite heavy for a fist size zoa colony. btw, the suns i got from you landed onto my acan...good thing no damage to the suns and only a little damage to one or 2 acan heads.

ya...that was wat i m puzzled too...can the maxspect cover 90cm?! unless combine with T5 and the maxspect is hanging on top. chiller size a bit underpowered, unless you incorporate an additional blower / fan in yr sump to keep yr water cool coz the skimmer will transfer heat to your water hence yr temp can go beyond 30 degrees.

nice set-up! i will be keen to know if maxspect can cover yr length. Keep me updated dude.

it started to shrink and vomit mucus..dun know whether is it becoz lights too strong or wat. but my other common orange yumas no problem. maybe i left it at GO for a few days under MH b4 i collect and when i placed it at my tank, it's not able to get used to it.

$180?! my yuma from GO kapuk liao...seems rather fragile as compared to indo species. if they do not expand, and keep sliming, chances are...cannot make it liao.

boxer shrimps are always hiding and sedentry...not a good scavenger to clean up waste food.
