actually GO display tank has a big fat mandarin....last time Shan wanted to sell to me...says its feeding on pellets and pods...dun know whether its still there....almost 3 inches.

previously i have problem with my candy cane also...the heads start to rot as if something is eating its flesh...most likely its a form of disease...i cut off the unhealthy heads away...but by then, it spreads to the rest..eventually i have to dispose them.

The new FTS is much better.... Try not to place torch...their sting is quite strong. Probably, less aggressive ones like red gonio, alveopora or even SPS!

Came back from Ah Kua Merin....saw some blue and green jelly fish. Lots of dart fish and fire fish. Still have some leopard wrasse. Not much corals. Have bubble bee snails.

oh...interesting...coralline on the sand bed? yr calcium level very high is it? i rather have coralline growing all over my tank than diatoms....they will make yr corals shrink and sick.

Use before....like biohome, you have to place it in a place where flow is low.

It used to be a problem that i faced last time....i just keep siphoning my sand bed. But this problem seems to stop after i stop dosing bacteria....for newly established tanks...this is a common problem and will go away once your tank is established and stabilised.

ya..i had these "markings" recently created by my nassarius snails...but i cleaned it off. i saw them making out..thought they r eating each other. Later realised they left behind the markings.

very nice yuma despite the murky water....i think they do better under MH / LED than T5, somehow.

put xenia in yr sump....its known to absorb phosphate as food.

Cannot lah...i feed 1-3 cubes of mysis everyday....if i dun change often...nutrients will be very high and algae goes boomz...i hate to come home n start seeing algae growing on my tank walls. That's y i change every 3 days...sometimes...every alternate days. i prepare my water and put them in my fridge...so anytime can change water. It's has to do with me...nothing wrong with you guys...dun worry...coz my family like things to be neat and clean.
