yes...i faced the same problem....sometimes one or 2 heads will melt..after that it will stop...cannot be help. i believe it has to do with water quality...they tend to do better in clear, low nutrient waters.

it's always easier to travel around not just to LFS with a car...moreover, OPC is good for pple who do not need to drive to work...esp when your office is rather convenient via mrt...with the heavy traffic every morning and expensive parking...not worthwhile to drive to work...unless u work in those industrial areas like tuas, jurong island, woodlands, loyang..then bo bian. and sometimes...with the things u buy from LFS, you can't possibly take a bus or mrt back...and if you take a taxi to-and-fro from your house to LFS farms...can cost you $30-$40 already.

budget really tight....coz i need to get new lightings...4ft is no joke compared to 2ft. Still have to order nsw and rocks and return pump, 2nd hand chiller + chiller pump....besides the stand. Skimmer probably will come later...have to c the compartment first...if not going for skimmer...will use refugium method...which means have to buy miracle mud...not cheap after adding all these things big n small...not using credit.

budget tight...haha...i wonder those ikea wood can make it...but i have to diy...that's the sianzation part. the iron stand are the thick ones...its quite alright...probably order from fresh n marine, edmund. coz my tank is in the kitchen area...so its ok...if in the living area, then its not asethetic.
