  4. Yo!...yo man...watz happening yo?!.... these 3 angels r not for beginners yo...they require a lot of care and attention and one have to learn how to wean them to feed yo...need tanks that has lots of live rocks yo...n lots of space yo...and preferably, not with other territorial fishes yo... got it? yo...
  5. i have tried keeping marine fishes n corals using canister...a few things u have to note. there will be micro bubbles coming out from yr cannister (normally, this dun happen for freshwater), somehow u will experience this in marine. u need to clean yr cannister at least once every 2 weeks...a lot of detritus will accumulate at the bottom. and no matter how hard u clean yr cannister, once u switch it on again, dirt will come out into yr main tank. without a sump, your equipments will be exposed...aesthetically, will not be nice and pleasant to the eyes. if u want to sustain this hobby for 3-4 years, it will be better to have a proper set-up with sump tank and overflow system....if u divide the overall costs over 4-5 years, it doesn't really cost u a lot and the tangible and intangible benefits u can get are enormous vs a non-sump tank.... However, if u have already committed to the set-up, its ok...u can still sustain with less sensitive fishes and corals...and probably, when u r deeply poison...can consider upgrading....haha... cheers mate!
  6. heard yr tank is coming very soon...looking forward to the pics!

  10. if u dun mind waiting n waiting n waiting n waiting n waiting for your entire set-up to be completed... Why dun just go to the source, rather than middlemen? - Coral Reef or N30, etc....its cheaper, faster and neater!
  11. haha... there's a limit to what mods can do in pasar malam end of the day...SRC may want to have a disclaimer so that the forum does not get involved if there r frauds or police case.
  12. The seller has to post pictures of what he is selling- whether it is equipment or livestocks....should not penalise based on seniority or number of posts. Being a long time member of SRC doesn't mean anything. We have some long time members whose reputable is so bad, still hanging around....sorry, i do not mean to be critical / offensive. Just want to reinforce my perspective. And i think we should scrap the bidding system.
  13. dottyback very pai si one...i mean aggressive...royal gramma looks even better...CF has a few and also u can try those dwarf angels like venentus, golden, multicolour, lemonpeel...they will live yr tank..coz a lot of rocks for them to hide
  14. sometimes u can get live abalone in cold storage...much cheaper than getting them in LFS...and they r the same as those u c in the LFS...they r good algae eaters... i have 3 snails in my 3ft tank...pretty hardworking too...but will topple yr corals. So, u have to secure yr corals on the rocks. AT is like the oracle among tang lovers...if only they r easy to keep haha... i bet yr bf will like powder blues too...
  15. seems to me the tank will be in your place instead of your bf's place huh....
  16. he's not the romantic or creative type haha...but u still like him right?
