i will go for LED...less heat, less energy consumption, less damage when yr chiller fails....colouration wise, LED alone may lose out to MH + T5 combi...but u can use LED + T5 combi to give u the best of both worlds... if u r afraid your maxspect is too strong for your corals...dun switch on for 8-9hrs after u install...start off with 5-6 hrs for a few days then increase the duration as days goes by....or u can hang your maxspect higher, further away from your surface of your water....u can check with dr evil on the customise hanging kit for maxspect G2 models....

you can balance the power by getting a dominal male...usually has high fin and mouth like sampan or a dominal male anthias of other species...the dominal male once establish himself will be the bully....if there r no dominal male..or the male has turn into female or ah kua...then the dominate female will be the leader...usually the biggest fellow in the tank...

hur hur...suddenly my copperband got demand...cannot lah...just managed to train it to feed on frozen mysis n brineshrimp...precious to me now.... but u can get them at CF for less than $4 lah...it's a relatively inexpensive fish n has good re-sale value if u manage to wean them to feed on frozen food and pellets....

i've pm u...reef crystals is another average saltmix...btw RC and Oceanic...i choose oceanic. u can still get coralife from LCK...$22 for 4.4kg...i think... AM is selling ME at 3 for $100...quite cheap. i wd say this is above avg saltmix.
