It's not whether they are indo or watever zoos...you managed to make them look wow!
Your tank is an inspiration to me and it proves that softies and LPS dominated tank can look just as good as a SPS dominated tank, if not, better...(thumbs up)
Actually u can try staghorn or digita montipora / branching montipora...they are not that difficult to maintain.
You can always start with a small one first like those you c in GO.
I changed water every 2-3 days 10% with distilled water and so far it has been beneficial to my corals.
But i need to introduce sump soon....coz i intend to increase my stocks...hehe...
Use a couple of big LRs as foundation will do and dun place them too near the glass or else next time you have problem cleaning any algae and siphoning dirt accumulating at the corners.
Yes...it's skimmless, sumpless...bottomless..haha..just joking...ya...i kept it for about a few days until one night i went to mendle with it and stressed it out real bad...so did not make it afterthat....hands itchy...learned my lesson.
Anyways...intend to go for 80% LPS...until i setup a sump beside my cabinet.
I hav changed to Reef Crystals by Instant Ocean from reefmax....must say it is good salt. High in calcium and can see my corals' colours improving.
Got it from East Ocean @ Havelock Rd.
i'm still skeptical when JM says they have discount and fishes and corals under offer....that's y i asked the bro how much he paid for his fire coral.
Ppls are asking for their price list in the other forum...haha
The reborn display tank uses fishing wire to hang the rocks....have been hanging there for a long time.
But since u using vortech....hmm...then u will have a swinging rock.
haha...depends on yr guts lo...
That's how SPS are propagated.
See this video...SPS sunbathing under the hot hot sun in fiji.
Anybody wants to take out their SPS to sun them?
It is a fire coral alright....had one of them b4. They are categorised under LPS although they look more like SPS.
Feeds on rotifer and phytoplankton in the night.
It does not sting yr hands because it is still small. But in the natural environment they can grow as abundunt as acropora and sometimes divers get cut by rubbing against them, just like acropora.
