  1. If you are intending to keep less than 40% SPS in yr tank, it is enough provided you place yr SPS at the top and directly under the LED. The thing about LED, it does not have reflector to "spread" the light rays and because it is direct light, there will be shadows and those corals at the corners will not get that much par, unless you customise your LED fixture to cover every inch of yr tank. But if you are starting out with soft and LPS corals, 160 / 180 W is good enough for yr 2.5ft depth.
  2. for iodine, a few drops per week can already.
  3. Be careful when placing xenias...if they get into yr wavewater, they can potentially caused yr tank to crash with their rotting juices. I read in www.reefcentral.com, there is such a thing called xenia "disease" where they can melt for no reason causing the tank to crash.
  4. let me go back and check if there's space to squeeze that red cinderella.
  5. And considering acans are rather hardy...so replacing up-the-lorry ones are quite low.
  6. cheaper to buy from fellow reefer ma...
  7. Very zhun...you can check out RB later loh. RD used to bring in aussie shipments, but due to the cost and the price, and having to do favours to reefers who are less well-off by fragging them into smaller pieces to make them affordable, they have reduced their shipments liao.
  8. Prepare to bring yr credit card to swipe or lots of cash. The last aussie shipment from RB, the acan lords was between $400 - $1000...and most likely the "tycoon lords" have reserved them already.
  9. not controllable and only one switch....as the concept is the almost the same as a typical 2xT5 fixture. the main benefit is very low heat. i personally went to touch the fixture on display and could hardly feel any heat at all. but i do not personally recommend it for SPS dominated tank...its not strong enough.
  10. wow..looks like i m too late for this x'mas sale
