Hi bros and sis, i would like to sell off all my marine stuff. 1) more than 20kg LR at $10/kg. if take all, will round it up to $200/- some LS - 2pcs clownfish, 2pcs 3stribe damsel, 1pc sgt major, 1pc melon head, 1pc yellowtail, 1pc boxer shrimp (FOC with all LR.) some corals - 2pc FD, some loose polyps, 1pc brown mushroom on LR, 1pc red bamboo macroalgae on LR, 1 redstar fish, 1pc sea apple (FOC with LR) 2) 1 Weipro 2012 skimmer with weipro 3000 - $50/- 3) 1pc complete set (with rotating arms) Rio800 PowerHead at $20/pc. 1pc incomplete set (no arms) for $10/- 4) some used marine products at $50/- for all 5) 2 4" fan at $30/- no clippers, sitting on some OHF holder if u take all, it'll b $300/- and i'll pack it up with all the #0 sands (more than 15kgs), a floating hydrometer, a measuring hydrometer, a thermometer, about 2kgs of marine salt. hi, my rocks r oso growing green algae ... abit here and there ... i find it rather nice ... maybe cos my tank mostly brownish in color (not diatom) so the green looks refreshing ...

yes, water lvl is too high and i've adjusted it ... now it'll have some skimmate and it's quite dark in color ... but it takes quite a longer time ... maybe say 3 - 4 days ... will post new skimmate pic later ... thanks for advise

hi, i'm also using weipro 2012 and weipro 3000 like u ... now i have dark brown color skimmate ... i think it's the adjustment of ur pump and the valve on the weipro. try adjust the pump to about 3/4 or 6/8 full and the same time, turn ur valve on the skimmer to let it flow fully. u can see the bubbles in the skimmer sometime will create a tonedo at the top ... then, slowly adjust the skimmer to close the valve ... once the water level is somewhere at the CUP-black rubber ... stop! mine skim for the above setting ... hope it works for urs too ... 2nd day of skimming

bought my weipro 2012 and weipro pump 3000 last friday, setup it up, ... cos no sump, and with OHF, have to hang at the side of tank. but dont fit ... hence, need to modify piping ... finally, it sit on my window grill with hooks ... need to adjust the knobs quite abit ... tweak the pump knob and skimmer knob lower ... water level inside skimmer is up till the neck ... bubbles circulating quite fast ... but havent had kopi-o results ... something like chinese tea ???

hi, i bought my 2012 and 3000 pump today too ... but then, the connection dont seem to fit ... so buy a rubber tube ... hope it works ... pump into main tank and skimmer outside ... was wondering if i can extend the outlet with more pipe work ?? any1 with advise ?? thanks ...

what if it works something like a OHF ??? the pump sucks up the water ... goes thru a few stackers with media and back to the tank by means of gravity ... ??? some sort of the other way round compare to a sump ...

ok, i think i get what u mean terryansimon ... about the spray off from the OHF ... i wud cover the top of the tank with a plastic or something ... wil that b ok ??? what about the powerhead ??? think i can get 1 that has a ceramic pin and not a metal 1 ??? that will b more suitable for marine, correct ??? thanks again ...

hi bros and sis, recently, my Waving Hand Polyps looks weird ... it's attached on a LR ... it did not open up for about 3-4 days ... (usually will open up after about 1/2 and hour of lights on - my lights are those 55w, double slim tube with white and blue, it's a T4 ???) some of the stem of the polyps turn brownish color (suppose to b purple) and a few of it had their polyps left out and died off ... then the rest of the parts had sort of grown algae on it ??? alot of hair like sticking out ... thou not moving ... some looks transparent ... is my Waving Hand Polyps dying off ??? what are the tell all sign ??? what will happen if i leave it as it is and did not remove it ??? those weird looking hair like algae or something, can i pull them off ??? this Hand Waving Polyps is consider a soft corals, rite ???
