  2. ahh really? i'd like to speak to them to see how they are running their setups.
  3. the red is so rich in your algae ah lim
  4. ah lim, do the LFS have seagrasses in their shops for sale? i've been looking for shops that carry halophila seagrass stuff on this thread here. http://www.marineplantedtanks.com/forums/showthread.php?t=38 nobody seems to have it. so beautiful too
  5. haha you got some good stuff then! i can't get mines to stick on any surface you got any recent pix ah lim?
  6. hello, i've been a huge macroalgae enthusiast since i started my first SW aquarium. my wife and i bought a 10g setup and the store was selling botryocladia red grape algae. we bought some and ever since then, i've been hooked! its gone as far as starting up a forum for macroalgae enthusiasts like myself. you guys over there are very lucky to be able to see the reefs first hand.
  7. yellow tangs are known to eat this macro. you can try camel shrimps also.they eat this stuff. however, they pick or eat coral too.. so if you have coral don't get that. other than that.. manual removal, phosphate reactor or just getting a torch and burning it off the rock. hth i've been through the battles of that algae
  8. i don't think its caulerpa.. its botryocladia uvaria. it really sucks being in california because caulerpa is banned and these exporters keep labeling this algae caulerpa!
  9. hello there, it's wonderful to see others into marine planted tanks. that red macro you have could possibly be halymenia.
