Main prioty is to find a good home for the fishes... (all of them my beloved, cant bare to lose them too but going overseas to study... ) Therefore pls PM a pic of ur setup and i will give a very good price. Collection is this saturday. Hmm.. gona list the equipments i have and see if i can reuse them... Tank = 2 cube with IOS and sump + cabinent (can someone recomend mi a tank maker) Lighting = (AZOO 2 x 150 MH ) Maybe gona chg to T5? (how many tubes for LPS and clams) Skimmer = aquamedic mulit sl (gona reuse i guess) Chiller = .5 hp RR chiller PH and stuff = tunze 6060 and 2 x maxjet 1200 (GUess the tunze will be too powerful rite?) Possibly geting a tubby to aid in topping up of water too Anyone with 2 ft cubes and comment on the setup? OR can i arrange to view ur tank one day ?? Tks JL

Hi guys, Have been thinking lately of the above. As i am going to leave for my studies soon, would be selling most of my stuff but couldnt bare to lose my clowns and bubbles. Therefore might be setting up a cube to keep them ( Or should i say my bro and galfren will help keep them). So before i decide, got some questions to ask. 1. First, the TANK !!! Where can i get someone to custom build the tank (Any recomendations??) 2. IF i reuse the life rocks and water and sand do i have to cycle again? If needed, how long? 3. I realised that by chging to a small vol of water, does it mean it is easier to maintain? Whats the Pro and Cons of having a smaller tank compared to a larger one. So far my main concerns are as above.. Hope someone can advise (esp those with a 2 ft cubes) Tks JL

Hi there, U mentioned that the skimmer works best as a hang-on.. Dun mind if u ask WHY? Cos if i am not wrong, the skimmate will be affected when the water level in the sump changes rite.. (happens when i shut the return pump to dose DT or when feeding). I realised water gush up the collection cup when it happens. And there is two sides to control the water level so where should the water level would u recommend? Will try to see if the air tube is stuck.. Tks JL

Hi ppl, Wana check if anyone is also using the above skimmer. I have been running it for about a month.. the first 2 weeks of skimming produced very dark but wet skimmate but however, i cleaned the collection cup after 2 weeks and cant seem to get the same kinda skim mate again. The skimmer is placed in the sump. Hope to hear from fellow reefers using the same skimmer. TKs

Hi guys, recently i tried to remove my srooms from a big piece of rock to a small of rock. I snipped the base of the sroom and place it on the rock with a thin netting on it holding it place... I tried abot 6-7 of them but only one survived...(ok ok i suck but at least i tried). The rest kinda melt away. However, about 1 wk after my stunt, i realised that my yumas are beginning to show signs of stress and a white fuzz has began sticking to the base of the yumas one by one and soon my rock of about 6-7 yumas are left with 1-2. Wana checked if anyone encounted this kinda thing b4 happening to thier srooms. COuld it be the melting srooms that i exprienmented with caused a dieases spreading to my other yumas? Tks JL
