  1. managed to get a double fan cooler for Laptops... fit in nicely on top, but blocking partial of the light. Able to bring down temp to 28. Have started with Goniopoli, bubble coral, open brain and blasto. The last 2 corals are doing fine while goni and bubble is not opening fully. Still surviving.
  2. Hi, any bro can advise what kind of anemone is this? Thanks.
  3. Bro any updates? U really giving up n getting a new tank? What a pity.
  4. Bro, don't post if you dun intend to sell to bros here. I arranged the meeting to collect from u yet u pull back just because your friend wants it. Please be fair next time. Not even a word of sorry from you. Great disappointment and your nick is in my blacklist for deals in future. Thanks for the experience. Worst than my experience in my car forums.
  5. Interested. Please advise where to trade. Thanks.
  6. Sigh, I downloaded the size of the Iceprobe and its too big to fit on my wall-mount tank....... tried using a CPU cooler and managed to bring the temp down to 29 the most and the adapter is damn hot.... Any bro's still got any idea how to bring temp down with space constraint? Sigh... looks like I can't start any coral....
  7. Hi Bro, where to get this kind of digital thermometer and the mini fan? Thnks
  8. Bro, is the fan-like thingy the chiller? I am thinking of Modifying a CPU Cooler for computers to act as a fan to cool down my water temperature from the sump. Mine is those wall-mount by Atl**tis and not much mod can be done. Where to get the one you have? Thanks.
  9. Thanks Achilles, I got a lot to learn although I had this tank with me for the past 2.5 years! I can only see it grabbing those sunken pallets near the hole its hiding and its mouth is as large as the diameter of the body!!! Can't see its jaws but certainly can see the feelers and all the legs along the body. It's still quite small and the mouth is abt the size of those small food pallets, but the way I observe it sucking at the pallet and swallow it whole piece certainly do worry me when it grows bigger. At the moment, no fish yet, just a turbo snail, 2 hermit crabs and 1 boxer shrimp as the leftovers during a disaster last month where all my fishes gone. Mine is LR and fishes setup only. Nothing fanciful yet.
  10. Very creative, and like your DIY attitude. My LS all gone about a month ago, i just reset every thing but dare not get new fishes yet due to a holiday trip next month. So now empty with LR with a turbo snail, hermit crab and boxer shrimp plus an unknown "millipede" like creature hiding in my LR.
  11. Hi Bros/Sis, Can anyone please help me identify this "millipede" like creature hiding in my LR? Any urgency to remove it? It moves extremely fast whenever, there is a slight movement. Very difficult before I managed to snap this pic. Thanks....
  12. Thanks Bro Lee, appreciate your encouragement. Was really sad especially when some of the fishes have been with me for more than 2 years. And my Lionfish was only 1.5 inch and had grown to 3.5 inch liao..... really looking forward to it growing bigger, than disaster happens. Now, can't wait for Friday, to do a spring cleaning. Noticed, there are alot of white little microscopic creatures crawling on the glass wall n the body of my tube worm... wonder if these are parasites? There are also some small inverte hiding in the loop holes of my Liverocks.......eekkk...
  13. Thanks bro... will be taking leave to sort this out this friday... at the same time, LONG WEEKEND... so got more time to clean up as well....
  14. Hi all, recently my whole LS (mixture of old and new, 2 angels, 1 lionfish, 1 clown, 1 blue tang, 2 damsels, 1 snail, 1 hermit crab) of 2.5 years died too with similar symptoms. Started with cloudy eyes then swollen eyes and tats it. No white spots. Now left with only a tube worm, 1 hermit crab and 1 snail. The only changed made was 10% of water change with own salt water mixture. I believe the water is the source of problem. Had even bought salt water from Re-b**n to change another 10% but to no avail. Now, I am thinking of changing the whole tank of water and let it stabilised for a month. Is this a good way to start all over again. Any advice is most appreciated... thks all... Sad.....
