U will need to check your NO3 & PO4 level 1st to determine which dosage to follow for the MB7, whether your tank belongs to high nutrient or low nutrient types. If u dun have test kits, then follow the dosage for high nutrient. U are a good owner. Should be fine if there are no corals that require strong wave, example SPS corals, because i have tried it & the flow is juz too slow in night mode. For dosage, please follow the guidelines closely. Start with underdose a bit & very slowly. Monitor closely to the livestock reaction & increase to the required amount if everything is ok. Super underdose will equal to not dosing at all. Stopped immediately if there if any negative reactions. Oops sorry. That is for lugol's solution. Iodide (aquapharm) 24ml per week. Using dosing pump to pump daily, around 3ml daily. 0.5ml per dose at intervals of every 4hrs. Underdose a bit here. Due to the overwhelming response, i will post the answers to some of the question asked. This LED has been used on my 3x2x2 feet. 160Watt. For 2 feet will be a bit long. I guess. It"s length is around 69cm. Of course it can cover up to 3 feet in length. Considering it is as good as new & still under warrantly & u all can see the photos, powerful lights, using cree LEDs, $350 is a very very reasonable & good price.
