  1. any thoughts or experiences of feeding decap BBS eggs into the reef tank for inverts/ filter feeders ?? recommended ??
  2. looking gd....glad you're taking your time with stocking the tank...very wise !!! same as me, not too familiar with the "unknown" hitchhikers jus do a google image search like "marine worms" or "marine crabs". Scroll through something close and you get a brief ID. Have more time, take a few pics and ask the bros out here...i had crabs that i took for granted with a few fishes and slowly my nano fishes disappeared... Henry @ ML will be a gd choice--well stocked with mostly nano-fishes...and he'll honestly tell you not to buy something if its not suitable for ur tank...judging by ur discipline, i see a nice and stable tank coming up! more pics ya?

  8. VIEW MY NEW TOPIC IN MARINE INVERTS FOR MY ANEMONES>>> see whether you still want a hammer....
  9. just some pics of my 2 anemones...currently 3 skunk clowns hosting 2 BTAs....they do rotate ard occasionally...sometimes afternoon nap in green, night time in pink rose...what u guys think??
  10. some pics of my 2 anemone shrimp......
  11. stay east side..occasionally at c328 area, reef depot too far..no offence guys, i'm juz lazy...any east side or clementi LFS sell these ??
  12. any one had current/ previous experience with them in reef tank ?? i only dare put my hammers in their tank... healthy and happy...3 out of 4 that survived...all 3 picked on the poor fella in the 15cm floating box hatchery i QT them in...now all released in 2 ft tank with many fist sized rocks and hammer coral only.. for the time being...
  13. here you go... have a look...only intending to sell @35 cos its pest free and free from jelly/infections. and only if u can collect bedok north st 3 wed night or thur morn...BROS dun flame me...its a personal value i set on it...not trying to extort...each to his own Value i believe in.... STILL RECOMMEND ANEMONE for you bro...cover your filter intake, plenty of crevices, no live rock leaning against glass, water pumps above height of live rock, patiently shop ard, DUN RUSH INTO ANYTHING... almost always make you regret..even if buying hammer from LFS...take your time and be rational n patient, observe hammer or anemone opeing up nicely, swaying with current, no jelly infection no dark spots or white slime...ask shopkeeper to use something to directly "tickle" the tentacles. should be very alert and quickly respond and retract its tentacles....anemone once close up should still be sticking on the substrate or rock...an anemone that wont stick is sick ! hope it helps...I also got a "thing" for corals with tentacles...only that bubble corals r too strong stingers for my 2 ft...1 got 2 BTA and hammer and 4 types of zoas and 6 frags gonio....still ok for 9mths... something similar to my pink RBTA is for sale at HENRY's !!! make the effort go to him...less than one blue note for the anemone...TRUST ME on this---Henry will nv ever sell a sick or lousy lifestock to u...or one that he feels that is not suited for ur set-up.. ANEMONES ARE THE MOST BEAUTIFUL !!! to me at least....
  14. recommend you getting a bubble-tip anemone...priceless when you see your clownfish sleep in them n the anemone forming a cup to form their bed....then again....view your other friendly forum thread...got reply
  15. looks normal for a gonio that juz went into the tank...mine didnt show a single tentacle for the 1st day...put on the substrate where it still has direct light --not shaded...it needs feedings of plankton like 2 times a week...thats all i do and all 5 frags of my gonio now happily stretching and waving in the current after 8 months..pretty little corals...
  16. no offence, where you buy from bro ??? i bought only for less than 1 blue note for the same thing...you kena the shop "CHOP " is it ?? i believe thats wats misleading you and hindering your sale... if really dun need it you have to lower your price i'd advise...and dun go back to that shop
  17. You could buy a nice central piece now ! gd for bio filtration...but no more than half the length...around 2/3 of the height...many corals will come with small pieces of rock which will slowly help scape the tank or glued on the central rock...cycling with LR for 1 week till the water smells sea-breeze fresh and you can add livestock !!
