Bro, that's a commendable effort to try and think and reason out why certain things happen the way it does Though i am not sure if your reasoning using O2 and CO2 is the answer to the browning part. But obviously, you are pretty right to say that the zooaxanthelea is the factor towards browning. Any other contributions / research artical on this area ? Am also sure there are members who are well learned in the areas of reef biological behaviour, please share your view points with us so that we can all learn from each other

Hi I would like to throw a qn for all to discuss and share... Why would a higher temperature 28-30 resulted in a less appealing coloration compared to lower temperature of say 25-27 ? Does anyone knows of an actual experiment ( meaning repetitive exercise ) to accertain the observation ? If possible, a reference to some scientific research or credible info on this topic would be very helpful for the benefit of readers Hope this would help kick start some form of research on the topic and provide a different dimemsion of sharing base on the understanding of actual biological/chemical relationship between SPS - temperature.

Red Redemption this is a full redish pink acro...with enough lightings, we can even see the edge of the coralite becoming yellowish

I like to comment something and back up with reasons and rational so as to allow readers to ponder over and make their own decision Perhaps I should clarify my view on the role on additives. They are meant to assist reefers in restoring their tank to mimic a natural sea water as close as possible. For those who do not wish to perform wc yet are able to export nutrient efficiently, additives such as various trace element products are essential and important so as to restore what is lacking. There are some who wish to experiment with additives, that's their own call. There are some who do not wish to fiddle with additives for whatever reason, that's their own call too. For me, additives comes in only when I need to correct my system back in tune with...the natural parameter as in the mother ocean. For example, restoring back my Mg level using Mg chloride additive powder / solution. Ok, let's leave this topic alone. Anyone interested with this additive thingy can start a new thread on its own.

I dont have a complicated system, although complicated piping all over the room...LOL Bro the key is good husbandry, that's all. No additives at all. Cheers !

Have you seen a yellow high-lighter marker ? This is one of the two most highligher color acro i have ever had ( with some pink coralite near the top portion of the acro )

This one is not rare, Bali tricolor it is. But manage to light up till it's light purple with very bright green polyps (and some even have a yellow center dot !) This is the prettiest of all the tricolor frags i have....now in the hands of my kaki Mr S lol
