  4. Hi Bro, my research so far on lighting for corals has been on going. However, it has been widely recognised that blue spectrum tend to contribute to a large extend on coral colouration. However, white lighting seems to intensify certain colouration such as red, so i personally perfer a mixture of blue and white, having a proportion of 70/30 there about Hope that helps

      for $$ gain.. haiz, i watch a documentary on the coral reef.. those corals are super beautiful with fishes swimming around it, fisherman whom uses the net to drag the seabed should really be punish severely for disrupting the eco system!

      Thank God the weather was perfect and wave not too choppy, catch was quite decent with groupers and lots of sea bream ^^

      I will be taking time to test out other brands of salt mix as well. Do not wish to make the findings public as it is sensitive for the supplier. Instead once i determine which salt mix is preferred and will share with those who keen to know.

  24. Looks to me like some creatures took a bite off from it. Check the sps pe, if other parts got pe then the issue may not be serious. However, if the whole sps pe retracted, you may need to monitor closely and probably need to frag out the healthy part away from the affected area.
