Hi Bro, my research so far on lighting for corals has been on going. However, it has been widely recognised that blue spectrum tend to contribute to a large extend on coral colouration. However, white lighting seems to intensify certain colouration such as red, so i personally perfer a mixture of blue and white, having a proportion of 70/30 there about Hope that helps

Looks to me like some creatures took a bite off from it. Check the sps pe, if other parts got pe then the issue may not be serious. However, if the whole sps pe retracted, you may need to monitor closely and probably need to frag out the healthy part away from the affected area.
