yup i am aware that they are capable of living in brackish , but they are native to freshwater streams etc. also , soon hock in sg all freshwater one haha

hmm but hqi lighting is "open air" so got alot of space for the heat to dissipate. the 12 gal canopy kinda traps the heat :/ nope no chiller , just aircon at night.

Getting kinda pissed off at the temperature of the canopy when its on. SO i would like to see if anyone has some retrofit lighting avail / lighting upgrades. Currently looking at 1. HQI viper MH lighting by JBJ 2. ILLUMMAXâ„¢ PRO 2 FT ( i'd get the 1 ft in a heartbeat , but i dont think there is a 1ft for this) 3. Others if you have to sell Open to suggestions guys

actually i tried to make a sump system and include the scrubber for the nano there , so over night a fish got suck inside and i didnt know. flow went to 0 and ammonia and nitrate levels soared -.-!

tried to make a nano scrubber for my 12 gal , totally failed and crashed my tank S.A whens your 10gal design coming out !!!
