Your bioload is too much for your tank to cope the thus resulting in massive death. Rule of the thumb: Add 1 fish or 1 coral 1 per week.

Oh no! Sorry to hear that happening to you. I can understand what you are going through cos when my tank gave way, my whole house was flooded with saltwater. Worse, got an very important appointmenet on the day isself.... Flooding or tank giving way is our worsr nightmare man..i shudder just to think about it ...
