  2. i call them and they quote 12 bucks per fish. Is it exp? I went to the farm yesterday and they sell for 5 bucks (cause full white thus decide not to buy from them)

  5. any one selling goby which can clean the sand let me know, thanks.
  6. yes i agree with you. to be honest, it was my mistake for not smelling the rock before purchasal ()..thanks for the advise.
  7. becase i thought that test kit are like hydrometer or reflectormeter in which it measures the kH level or calcium etc, that needs no items which contains expiry dates.
  8. why does the test kits have expiry dates? i thought its similar to the ph test kit with meters on it?
  9. i got to clean the debris in the sand unfortunately. Does sea cucumber eats the brittle worms found in the sand?
  10. any suggestion which device to use for the mention chemical testing?
  11. ok what about turbo snails? in fact i have 3 small hardy fishes in the tank and have been there quite a while and seems to survive
  12. Are the sea water 'ready-made' or need to be used for cycling?
  13. i guess its the uncured rocks that smell. i bought rocks from different source and i pick them up from my tank one by one and smell it (hah) till i find the cuplrit. Took them and found lots of soft substance like decomposed snails and even unwanted crabs (sticky stuff). Scrub them off though cant be 100 percent complete .Previous batch of rocks i bought only have the sea breeze and not the kind of sea breeze smell. Pray that things will go right in few mths time. BTW, i have to change the water after the rocks are cured as well as the tank is cycled right?
  14. ok, i bought some uncured rocks unknowingly and threw them in my tank which has yet to be cycled. Some smell could be detected and so i thought any equipment could be used to test the water quality and in this case kH and others you mentioned
  15. i found that the LR bought are uncured making the water smelly. I bought the carbon and scraped off dead organism on the rock, freshwater dip, and put them back to the tank hopping to get it cured and cyclying the same time. Thought sea cucumber can help to clean the mess from the debris on the sand bed.
  16. Is it ok to add some marine cleaner like sea cucumber for the sand bed due to the debris from the uncured live rocks and some snails to maintain the 'cleaniness' of the tank, during the cycling period? thanks.
  17. Is there any ways to test the water quality ? not the KH,calcium etc. The water quality that enable one to decide to change the water, etc. thanks.
  18. specifically which farm do you know of? thanks.
  19. anyone one knows how to kill/catch worms and crab from those LR bought? thanks.
  20. i tried to take out the rock and the crab hide deep in, cant get it out only have a few fishes.
