wonder if there's a cheaper way to use multiple pumps for wavemaking instead of a controller. tried to make waves with carlson's device (not sure spelling is correct or not), amazingly noisy and the pivot always spoil
1262 3400l/h 3.6hmax 80w more info @ http://www.eheimasiapacific.com/prod_pump_universal.html
Do we realli need silicone carbide bearings? ceramic seems good enough. wonder when will diamond coated bearing appear,
reddragon the price scary leh, haha. got method to try to scavenge some pressure, just don't put it absolute vertical. I tried it with not bad results. I have a gentle gradient return pipe with a few u tubes. Managed to climb 20% higher than stated in the package. Minus points are the costs of pipes and the maintainability.
get a eheim 1262 for sump? would get mp40W for some wave action. i have seen mp20 live, they are amazing. can even use it in my washing machine if i want to.
I presume that you are using a under-tank sump. What is the height of the sump to tank?
35L and another 1 that's coming. I believe the other 1 is 10ft +. I intending to keep sps.
a variety of flow rates, from low to high. tight budget since I busted mine just with the UPS, yes, power consumption and heat generation are major issues, but reliability is the highest of all concerns
aquabee or eheim is better? never use aquabee before. I have seen eheim's reputation. I inherited a nearly 10 years old canister filter from my dad and it's still running quiet! though the o-ring is problematic.
mp20 not for me, i will get tsunami in my room! haha ya, very sad, no need to search, think I need to hook my tank onto the thumbler of my washing machine, or I have to invest in a real good massage chair or an orbital shaker,
