  1. Haha, you should remove it manually and pass to people eho has getting a gsp infestation
  2. Calibrate and check with 1.024/5/6 solution. You can always use a compensation table if your instrument has no ATC. If you need help with calibration, you can throw the instrument at me, I can help you to calibrate.
  3. Thanks for your compliment. I prefer getting ls from reefers too as I can get photos without going to see the ls physically and some ls they sell are better in coloration. Even though it is my preference, most of my ls are from lfs as the ls there tend to have stronger immunity (from my observations). Aquacultured ls from lfs would be the ideal ls for me.
  4. It's a sign of ulns. Going for pastel, colours? You should start dosing amino acids and coral food if you want to get better coloration as the corals have less zooxanthelle, they need more food and dissolved organics from you.
  5. Unfortunately, due to lack of space, I am unable to proceed with ATS project. However, I have ordered an iq5,should have more space. Meanwhile, I have a cyano attack with 99% of them growing on my filter floss. CTS instead of ATS? Maybe cyano are faster nutrients exporters than algae.
  6. <p> Haha, it also wouldn't look out of place in a marine tank as well, that is if you are trying to recreate the natural scape found in east coast storm canal. Add some cockles and you are good to go.
  7. Is this the pastal colour due to lns or from over feeding?
  8. Agree. The ls from reefers tend to be exposed to long periods of stress free, stable environment. It will be a huge shock for them to switch to your tank. In lfs, however, they are exposed from shock for longer periods (from collection, transportation and in lfs tanks). Hence, weaker specimens are selected out during this process. You tend to get "hardier" specimens than from reefers, that is of course, unless you have very similar parameters to the reefers you are purchasing from
  9. What i meant is changing water doesn't hurt, neither will not changing water. Just don't change 100% daily.
  10. Cool. You mentioned $1 per bid, i believe some of the bros over here understood as only $1 per bid. My bid is now $30
  11. Isn't it supposed to bid $1 at a time? 30 or whatever is the next highest bid
