henry's pricing cheap?

anemone is not that hard to keep. by time bomb, I meant it keeps shifting around for no reason. Once it goes to your pump inlet, good luck to you, unless you have a skimmer that is rated many times more than your tank size. There's many cases of anemones getting blended by pumps and the tanks have to be restarted. Unless you manage to find an anemone that doesn't move, you have a very huge tank, or maybe you have a skimmer that is rated for 1000L (with 70% reduction for SPS) for your 100L tank (which from what I know, I am the only one who did that before), it is safer not to keep anemone. If you notice, most tanks with tons of expensive SPS or ls do not have anemone for safety reasons. If 5g of uneaten food can cause an ammonia spike, imagine what 100g of liquified protein slurry can do to your tank.

rock must get all 300kg or can get loose?
-
Possible. Cannot confirm until you tested all 3 parameters. How high is your tank from sump? You also need to see the hmax. Use the graph provided by the pump to determine the actual flowrate from height/hmax. Not needed, however, mandrain fish requires special diet. You may need tons of lr to sustain them. A fish that's not recommended to keep unless you own a very huge and matured tank.

where is this henry located? must go to him someday, haha

sis, you are missing test kits. haha, if you dont want to be called bro, maybe you can try defining your gender? i would call bell a bro too if you have not posted that, haha. mind pming the price of your tank as I am trying to find a cheap and good tank maker? yup, reefing is a time consuming and demanding hobby. think about the time spent by mother nature to create and maintain this beauty! maintenance will be tedious, you are talking about daily, weekly, monthly and yearly routines. must be very committed to have this hobby. time, energy and money consuming! I would suggest running a dc fan in the cabinet to prolong life of the chiller compressor. if you are using external temperature probe, you can connect the fan with the controller, thus switching it on and off with the chiller. I used to have fans that are only switched on when the chiller was on and switched off 5 minutes after the chiller was switched off.

anemone is a time bomb

1) no, it takes time, may take from 2 weeks to 4 weeks. if you want it to be faster, try using commercial bacterial cultures and keeping your biomedia as dark as possible helps. what is your ammonia reading? if it is 0, turn off your protein skimmer. 2) yes, phosphate has minimal impact on cycling, bacteria need some phosphate, but we are talking about very minute amount, which cannot be detected by your test kits nor your remover can remove. 3) yes and no. filter media can be changed but do not disturb biomedia, unless you are trying to culture detritus decomposers.

PVC pipes, must be careful of plasticizer and additives leeching. try to switch to uPVC. especially the PVC near to pump, if temperature too high, PVC burning can produce dioxins and HCl. -

haha, singapore has very developed aquarium market as we are the supplier of many ls. equipment wise, I feel we are much more restrained as compared to Europe and US.
