  1. Really nice tank. One of the best i saw latley... Your whole setup and idea about it is superb, IMHO. I wonder how is that Singapore angel behaving toward all those lovley SPS?! Why didn't you go with Balling if you wanted low maintinence? Thanx Regards from Croatia
  2. That's the info I was looking for! :ThanxSmiley:tnx
  3. Thank you for your concern, but I am no fish begginer. Only thing I don't know is will my Majestic bully any new dward angel?! Does anybody have large angels and dwarfs in the same tank without problems? regards
  4. Nice coral!! Can you please tell me latin name of this "SuperSun coral"?!? This is Turbastrea right?
  5. What do you guys think, whould my E.navarchus bully any dwarf angelfish like paracentropyge multifasciata or centropyge loriculus/potteri?? Tnx
  6. I had a copperband and a coco in the same tank for a week or two... Then my chelmon rostratus allmost destroyed coco, and I had to give it to my friend. So IMO coco and chelmon just can't go together in a same tank.
  7. JoeJoe, purple queen anthias is IMHO a BIG no no in reef aquaristic... They are too damn demanding for a regular hobbyst to keep them live&kickin' , but on the other hand for some reason they are allways available on the stocklist in large numbers.
  8. Zeus faber is common fish in Adriatic Sea, and he is a premium class fish for gourman cooking:) For some reason we call it on Croatian language "kovac" wich means in english "blacksmith"... On the market 1kg goes for 15€ if I am not mistaken... Nice predator fish, big mouth IMO...
  9. Wow, I sure know to fell in love with the wrong one I saw them also on a Singapore exporter stocklist, they were priced 10$ per fish... so I think they were not so expensive - or maybe exporter made a wrong ID on some anthias?! In this hobby I figured it out that if you think you can succede with something that others didn't on multiple occasions - think again! I will enjoy watching these guys over the net... like I used to! Thanks for info Digiman
  10. I know this guys are deep sea anthias, very poor shippers, and quite aggressive for their small size(9cm?).. But they are IMO the most exquisite anthias out there, and I would LOVE to have small group one day. I was wondering those anybody here have them? Can they be kept with other anthias species in the tank? Any good pictures or video of them? thanx
  11. My good friend bought them 2X in the past. Allways a group of 6-8...and allways end up dead in less then 6months. He fed them on a daily basis 2-3-4x per day, mostly frozen, some dry food. Tank was at the time in the best shape ever, and they didn't survive. So I would agree with LemonLemon here again. Treat them like M.tuka(purple queen anthias) and they will probably survive. And I think everybody knows how M.tuka are hard to keep alive.
  12. Im from Croatia/Europe! Since we are not in EU yet, we have problems with marine imports... And since our LFS(all five of them LOL) use "stoneage" tank setups and techology, they do not have quality imports. So only good shipments come from Singapore.. And this is majority of our LFS imports.
  13. Ahhhh not the anwser I was hoping for... But it makes sense, thanx LemonLemon! In Singapore wholesale exporter stocklist these guys are almost allways available for cca 40$ per fish.. That's pretty expensive for a wholsale price. How to know from what region they are cought?!? Is there some visibe differences like in Pygoplites diachantus angel?? Thanx for fast reply;)
  14. Hi guys, Does anybody have personal exp with this pygme angelfish or has any good info about keeping this reef gem?? I would like to add a pair in the near future to my 100g SPS tank, so any info is very appreciated! Cheers
  15. I couldn't agree more! Well said. Last month i bought beutifull (large) P.navarchus (or is it now E.navarchus?)... This angel is stunning! It took me a whole week just to acclimatize this semi-adult fish to my mostly SPSP dominated reef, and my Zebrasoma xanturum didn't help too much with it. Nowdays Majestic angel swims and eats with other tankmates, and my polyp expansion isn't as good as it used to be - but who cares?! Angel nips at polyps some time, maybe he nips at slime, as LemonLemon stated above, but truth is this amazing fish can be kept in SPS tank, IMHO. My advice to ppl who want to have large angels in their reef is: buy the fish when you have large specimens of Acropora in your tank and enjoy in your new angelfish!
