  3. Hi brother, Can anyone ID this creature? Thank you.
  4. If it splits, it is to create a clone so it wont merge back. Now you have 2 RBTAs. good news!
  5. Hi bros, Need some advices on the rearing clownfish larvae. I just realized that my clownfish has spawned and I am hoping to try my luck to rear those clownfish larvae. However, I don't have the space for a separate larvae tank. 1. Is it possible to rear them in my cheato refugium in my sump tank (if I reduce flow to the refugium). I am wondering if the live pods can be good food source for them. 2. Does adult clownfish eat the larvae? Because I have one adult clownfish in the refugium now (it is a poor fish kena bullied by the clownfish parents in the main tank. If yes, then I may need to give it away... Thank you!
  6. I read from Liveaquaria that Burdundy star may be harmful to clam but it may also be due to hitchhiker crabs which are big enough to assault the clam. I had one of such crabs that eat my small clam before.
  7. For a 1-month old tank, I have a feeling that you are stocking fishes too fast - especially anemones needs a mature tank of no less than 6 months...marine reefing is not a hobby that can be rushed. Probably suggest you stop stocking for now and test your parameters.
  8. Items collected by a nice reefer. Thread closed.
  9. Look like a tiny brittle star showing some of its legs...
  10. Hi bros, Have 2 anemones and one colony of unknown polyps to give away. Anemone 1: carpet anemone about 2 inches. It wasn't doing well in my refugium previously but managed to nurse it to recovery slowly and feeding on Mysis. Anemone 2: don't know its name but near it buries its base into sand. Was originally purple but it keeps moving so I placed it in my refugium and its color changed to brown. Should be able to change back with good lighting. About 3 - 4 inches. Colony of polyps: purple encrusting but brown polyps. The entire rock piece is around hand size.
  11. Anyone knows the prices of starcki damsel and blue reef chromis? Thank you.
  12. I used to have a similar hitchhiker crab in my aquarium and it gave me a great deal of headache...such as knocked off my corals and murdered my baby clam. I have a couple of missing healthy fishes so I suspected is due to it.
  13. Hi brothers, Anyone can share if they managed to place sessile invertebrates next to anemone which survives? for instance, can anemones kill coco-worms, clams, tunicates? Thank you.
  14. Provided you have no fishes that will eat away the grapes. Otherwise soon the red grape will just become red stems.
  15. You may want to read this if you really want to keep sponges alive for long term. I have definitely given up trying. Near to impossible to survive in captivity. http://www.nano-reef.com/topic/96820-sponge-care-basics/
  16. Nope. They have moved but not too far from Jalan Kayu.
  17. Anyone knows if Ah Beng is open today? Need a couple of sand sifting gobies urgently.
  18. No point spending money and anyhow throw into tank to see them die. A proper drip acclimitation rewards you with higher survival rate. And honestly it is not too much of hassle, easy to setup
  19. Thanks Bro Fuel. Hope to see such a new shipment coming in again Will drop by Iwarna after CNY to see the large purple colony.
