  9. Now ... Who knows where I can get a 10micon sock?
  10. When using goodbye po4 .. Or most likely lanthanum ... It's a must to have a very good skimmer .. Run it wet , and/or a 10micron filter sock ... Dose slowly and not dump the whole recommended amount into the tank ... Best dosed right at the skimmer intake or before the socks.. Water will turn cloudy ... Try at best to make sure the main tank doesn't cloud .. So confine the cloudiness In the sump , My yellow tang was affected when I dosed too fast , heavy breading and looks like it's gonna climb the ' stairway to heaven ' anytime .. But ... He survived !! Lol
  11. Go to car park opposite clementi florist carpark the shophouse behind the mosque.. Marine life
  12. How bout using the goodbye po4 on the salt mix with tap water? It removes phosphate too ... Just need to have a skimmer in the tub before water change ... Cheaper?? Need like 5 ml for 100ltrs of water?
  13. I think for 4k should get a whole setup + a chiller.

  17. Yea .. So do swimming pools and other water theme parks in SG ...
  18. Quick question ... When we buy new saltwater from LFS ... Where do they come from???
  19. Salinity also differs from different area and during different tides .. best if you could get water from a deeper source.. Yes our shores are dirty i agree ... But we do still have corals triving and living on out shorelines meaning the water are still good to support life.. I have upgraded to a 3,2,2 tank and honestly .. If i could transport 300litres of natural seawater from sentosa .. I will ..!! Hahaha
  20. I have used natural sea water from singapore shores previously for my small 2.5f tank .. Yes they are quite dirty but after running them thru the filter and skimmer the became crystal clear like all saltwater aquarium. Best water to take from is from the south area sentosa to be exact and during high tide... Changi beach not so bad .. Worst is those from north side like woodlands, sembawang , punggol , kranji. I have kept clowns, tangs and gobys with no problem. GSP , anemony , zoas grows bigger also. If you have a small tank or for top up ... I guess its ok .. But for top up we use fresh water ... Not sea water .. Water evaporates not the salt content... Right?
