U need , water temperature of 26-28 deg Celsius, That's the objective of using a heater or a chiller . If a heater can get the tank temperature to 27degree than use it. If not then u need a chiller. U could start by telling us your current tank water temperature , so we can advise you what to use ..

Me too , and I get lots if detritus floating around ..

Scoop up a hand full of sand or seaweed from the beach , put them in a see thru bottle or container ,add sea water and shake ... U will see them floating and running around.. You'll get lots more from seaweed ..

GSP ... One of the easiest coral to keep ... It is normal for GSP to not open for sometimes weeks when they are introduced to a new tank. I have GSP that did not open for quite a while and had algae grow in them and then suddenly open with new polyps .. Y new ? Choz they are smaller than when they were initially bought . So just put them where u want them and just let nature do it's course .. An area with good flow is good.

Good experiment there Mr Firestarter , and a good post, I believe that this is to inform guys here more about these mangrove which has been mentioned in many articles and reads that were linked and easily googled. And especially where to easily get them. And to those who have read the above post as it was intended for and feel that they have not been properly informed and have been done unjust. Please please please contact me for a refund of your bottle of coke/frag. And to those who wants to go to the beach and easily pick up some mangrove , please do so and share some here. (Go early before the Banglas do their morning cleaning runs) good luck .
