  3. Interested in those additives . Contact me thru wassap
  4. If I remember correctly , rowaphos is iron based and phosguard is aluminum based. Both works in removing phosphate . Both have their pros an cons .. the norm in a marine tank are 2 reactors , one rowaphos (phosphate removal) the other biopalets (nitrate removal)
  5. It is necessary to remove phosphate and nitrate for the good health and growth of the corals and other inhabitants in your tank. A reactor is an item that will help run the removal media. If u are using media that does not require a reactor then u don't need a reactor. There are many ways and means to remove nitrate and phosphate, google it and choose the best method for your tank.
  6. If I'm not wrong ... U need phosphate to remove nitrate. If po4 is zero then your no3 will remain as it is even with nitrate removing agents. Corrected if I'm wrong .
  7. That's kinda expensive if u ask me ... Try getting a aircon compressor chiller and better lights set at least..
  8. U need more salt... An exact dimension of your tank and sump would help ..
  9. You will need a cover for that , an clear acrylic enclosure , this will help with the salt spray and stray jets of water when the algae builds up and the pipes start to clog.. I been there .. Trust me you won't want a damp or flooded sump area... !! I've swapped to a UAS now ,
  10. Is it possible to keep sps corals in a jbj 24g tank? Yes it is possible , with dedicated and very good husbandry. I have a sump with a skimmer that's 5 times larger than recommended. That is very good , oversized skimmer is always good. Also any one knows how to use biopellets and what rmare the benefits Biopallets are used in a reactor that will pass water n tumble them preventing them from clumping. They provide carbon element which will promote growth of nitrate reducing bacteria.
  11. Ok , for overflowing problem your water outlet might be blocked by those media. For big bubbles problem , your air intake might be blocked , or there is something wrong with the impeller (foreign object stuck in there) Good luck ..!!
  12. What's that at the bottom of the skimmer ? Izzit bare tank or gravel?
  13. If bubbles are too big , then. Check salinity or dismantle pump and check the impeller for foreign objects..
  14. Please check , the output of the pump must be blowing at the part without the holes . As in picture.
  15. Can't see anything .. Need pic of bottom of skimmer and the intake..
  16. A picture will me a big help. If you r using a phone to view this, go to full version , and resize your picture before posting them.
  17. What's the Salinity of your main tank n sump water?
  18. That's a very bad wave maker u got there ..!!!
